User Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of any personal data held by TSD CONSULTANCY - FZCO (Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates — “we”, “us”) in connection with emberlost.com, the browser game EMBERLOST, and our Meta application EmberLost Yayın. It is the companion to our Privacy Policy.

1. The EmberLost Yayın application

The EmberLost Yayın Meta application is an internal publishing tool. It posts our own announcements to our own EmberLost Facebook Page, Instagram account and Threads profile, and reads back the results of those posts.

It has no end users. Nobody logs into it, it is not offered to the public, and it holds no third-party account data. It authenticates through a system user belonging to TSD CONSULTANCY - FZCO and touches only assets that company owns.

Because the application stores no personal data about any person other than our own administrator, there is nothing about you for it to delete. If you nonetheless believe it holds data relating to you, write to us using section 3 below and we will investigate and respond.

2. What personal data we actually hold

Across the whole Service there is exactly one category of personal data, and it exists only if you chose to give it to us:

Newsletter subscription — the email address you submitted and the language you selected.

Everything else stays on your own device. The game saves your progress (chapter completion, collected sparks, chosen language) in your browser’s local storage; it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser’s site data for emberlost.com erases it immediately. Short-lived server logs are kept for security and are deleted on a rolling basis.

3. How to request deletion

Fastest route — newsletter: every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. Following it deletes your address from the active list right away, with nothing further to do.

Any request, including one you would rather put in writing: email legal@emberlost.com from the address you want deleted, with the subject line Data deletion request. If you cannot write from that address, tell us which address is affected and we will verify before acting.

You do not need an account, a reference number, or a form. A single sentence is enough.

4. What happens next

We confirm receipt within 7 days.
We complete the deletion and confirm it within 30 days, which is the maximum period allowed under the GDPR.
Deletion is permanent. We keep no shadow copy, and our delivery provider removes the address in the same pass.
The request is free of charge, and we will not ask you why.

5. Your wider rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you also have the right to access, correct, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The same address handles all of these.
